We Were Soldiers:

On November 17, 1965 in the Ia Drang Valley of Vietnam, in a small clearing called Landing Zone X-Ray, Lt. Col. Hal Moore (Mel Gibson) and 400 young fathers, husbands, brothers and sons, all troopers from the U.S. 7th “Air” Cavalry, were surrounded by 2000 enemy soldiers. The ensuing battle was one of the most savage in U.S. history. Featured players include Greg (As Good As It Gets) Kinnear, Chris (Election) Klein, Madeline (The General’s Daughter) Stowe, Barry (Saving Private Ryan) Pepper and Sam (The Contender) Elliott as Sgt. Major Basil Plumley. Randall Wallace helms the drama, marking his first since completing “The Man in the Iron Mask” in 1998.

The Sweetest Thing:

The story centers on sexy Christina Walters (Cameron Diaz), who after years of avoiding meaningful relationships with men finally meets her perfect match, Peter Donahue. When he suddenly disappears, she and best friend Courtney set out on a hilarious journey to find him. Their search ultimately leads them to a surprising discovery and the realization that love is, after all, the sweetest thing. Featured players include Christina (Just Visiting) Applegate, Thomas (Original Sin) Jane, Parker (Best in Show) Posey and Selma (Legally Blonde) Blair. Roger Kumble helms the romantic comedy, marking his first since completing “Cruel Intentions” in 1999.

National Lampoon's Van Wilder:

Ryan (Dick) Reynolds plays the title character in this contemporary comedy about a young man who may have a knack for throwing legendary parties, and may be the most popular student on campus, but who, after seven years at school, can’t seem to crack the art of graduation. When his father refuses to pay for another semester, the ever-ingenuous Van Wilder sets his sights on partying his way to graduation, a successful career and even true love. Featured among the youthful ensemble are Tara (Josie and the Pussycats) Ried, Kal (American Desi) Penn and newcomer Kim Smith. Walter Becker helms the comedy, marking his sophomore outing as a director, following “Buying the Cow.”

All About The Benjamins:

Based on a script by Ronald Lang, this action comedy features Ice Cube as a bounty hunter in pursuit of a bail jumper (Mike Epps). An unlikely alliance is formed between the hunter and his quarry after they unwittingly fall into the middle of a diamond heist. This picture marks the directorial debut of former music commercials director Kevin Bray. It also marks the film debut of Valarie Rae Miller, a series regular on Fox TV’s “Dark Angel.”
