Mesclun Salad with Candied Walnuts & Blue Cheese

The following recipe is from our Westport Cooks Archives and one of our previous classes. You can use this recipe and add your own style as you make your own fresh Mesclun Salad. We have all the ingredients you need in our Produce Department and will be happy to answer all your questions while you shop here at Lees Market.
Ingredients:
• Mesclun greens
• 1 cup whole walnuts
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• crumbled blue cheese, to taste
• Balsamic vinaigrette dressing (see below)
Directions:
Arrange mesclun greens on individual plates. Over high heat, add walnuts and sugar to a heavy bottomed sauté pan. Stir constantly until the sugar liquefies and coats the walnuts. When fully coated remove walnuts from the pan and put on waxed paper to allow to
