Cilantro-Lime Marinated Shrimp en Skewer
The following recipe is from our Westport Cooks Archives and one of our previous classes. You can use this recipe and add your own style as you make your own Cilantro-Lime Marinated Shrimp en Skewer.
Ingredients:
1 pound U16 shrimp, uncooked, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup light olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Marinate shrimp in ingredients for 15 minutes. Skewer onto water-soaked bamboo skewers and cook over hot coals for 2 minutes, turn and cook for additional 2 minutes.
