Mahón -A Spanish Cheese Heavyweight

cs-16.jpgAre you looking for a cheese that is tempting, a bit salty and nutty but not overpowering? Our latest suggestion is Mahón, a traditional semi soft cheese produced from cow's milk on Minorca, an island off of the Spanish coast. It is a wonderful Tapas cheese, served before dinner with some salty olives and a nice young Rioja red wine. Try it the traditional way, spliced, then sprinkled with an extra virgin olive oil, black pepper and tarragon.
