Have you ever visited Greece?

Greece 2.jpgLees Market and MSA Cultural Tours invite you and your friends on this spectacular tour for only $1,895.00 per person.

NOVEMBER 13th thru NOVEMBER 21st
Imagine yourself walking in the footsteps of the ancient Greeks. For 8 glorious days, and 7 enchanting nights, you and 30 of your friends and neighbors could do just that...

Let the past come alive as your guides Ben Taggie, Professor Emeritus of Medieval and Classical History, and Louise Bourdreau, (Tour Facilitator who makes the trains run on time, even in Italy) transport you to the very seat of Western Civilization. Athens, Delphi, Olympia, and Nafplio are just some of the sites we will visit on this exciting vacation.

Our group will be treated to some of the most remarkable sights and sounds that Greece has to offer. Expertly guided by Ben and Louise, the first 2 nights will find us in Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece.greece water.jpg

From this base, we visit 13th century B.C. Mycenae and visit one of the most stunning edifices of Mycenaean architecture, the Treasure of Atreus, also known as the beehive tomb of Agamemnon. Following lunch (on your own), we visit the 4th century Greek theatre at Epidauros.

After a morning tour of the 18th century Venetian fortress of Palamidi, we depart for Olympia. It is on this spot, in 776 B.C where the first Olympic Games were held. Of course throughout this day, and every day, there will be ample free time for you to explore, and shop.

From Olympia, it’s on to Delphi, site of Greece’s most sacred Oracle. Your afternoon is free to tour, wander, or simply put your feet up in a small Greek café.

Greece 1.jpgWe end our tour in Athens, a city teeming with history, and pulsing with the life of a modern city. Tour the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, and the Byzantine Museum, just to mention a very few historic sites. You will have abundant time to explore on your own or in smaller groups...
