Lees Produce Department and Local Farms

peppers.jpg
Did you know the Lees Produce Department carries a wide variety of produce items? We purchase our produce from a variety of wholesale companies enabling us to provide our customers with consistent high quality produce. Matt, our Produce manager, also buys produce from many local farms during the summer and fall months.

Local farms like Peckham’s Farm, Walker’s Farm, Paradise Hill Farm, Pierce Farm, Lydon Farm, and Wishing Stone Farm supply Lees with high quality fresh local produce. There is nothing like fresh local corn, tomatoes, beans, squash, peppers, pea greens, beets, lettuce, turnips, strawberries, peaches and blueberries. Please ask for Matt, Rui, or Brian if you have any questions or concerns about our produce.

Local Farms
sanfordfarm 1.jpgDid you know there are many local historic farms right here in Westport? One of those local farms is Sanford Farm. Sanford Farm is a 33 acre family owned farm that was originally built in the early 1800's. Since 1983, Sanford Farm grows fresh native strawberries (early June) and Blueberries (early July). A local farm where families and friends can pick their very own Strawberries and Blueberries.
