Concerts at the Point
Lees Market is happy to support the Concerts at the Point chamber concert series. Concerts at the Point is a local organization that provides opportunities for music in the schools and for young performing musicians.
“ Classical Music in the Schools”
History:
Concerts at the Point was founded in 1997 to enhance the cultural environment for residents of southeastern New England by presenting chamber music concerts performed by distinguished musicians and exceptional young vocal artists. The concerts are held in the Westport Point United Methodist Church, a small venue with extraordinary acoustics, an ideal site for the intimacy of chamber music. The 1999 Baldwin piano purchased after a gala fundraiser enhances the performance of the piano ensembles. “Please click here for the entire history of Concerts at the Point.”
