Bridlewood Reserve Syrah
Bridlewood Reserve Syrah is full bodied with soft but powerful tannins. This wine starts with blackberry jam, violets and plum. The fruit flavors of dark berries combine with mouth filling tannins form a long silky Mid-palate and ending with a clean lingering finish. While this wine is already balanced and drinking well, the moderate alcohol acidity and tannin structure will allow this wine to improve with additional cellaring and drink well for an additional five years.
Bridlewood Reserve Viognier
Bridlewood’s 2005 Central Coast Reserve Viognier is the result of blending six unique vineyards. This great wine expresses an aromatic bouquet of honeysuckle and orange blossom, accompanied by aromas of melon, buttered toast and rich tropical fruits. The flavors are a blend of tart mango, peach, and grapefruit with a creamy texture. This is a luscious treat that showcases how Viognier can be, both, big and rich, yet soft and supple. The moderate acidity and full fruit flavors make this a perfect wine for pairing with rich foods such as lobster, crab, abalone or a more casual fare such as pâté, fresh fruit and a variety of hard and soft cheeses.
